TTCU Midtown
Nestled in the heart of Midtown, on 31st street between Louisville and New Haven Avenue, the 10,000SF t new TTCU Federal Credit Union Midtown Branch has an open floorplan that seamlessly combines mid-century elements with modern aesthetics. The architectural design was influenced by the original flagship branch building and previous headquarters, incorporating traditional red brick with a modern glass central core.
This structure is a true 360-building, as it is viewed from all four sides. Each façade was carefully designed and built for all possible viewing angles. The intentional site placement was a key element in the successful design, located at the corner adjacent to the Tulsa Public Schools Service Center, the building pays homage to the credit union’s foundation.
Inside, the building blends tradition and progress, showcasing sleek marble walls, warm tones, clean lines, polished terrazzo flooring and natural light to welcome all who visit. The terrazzo concrete has flakes of different shades of green and copper, tying together the cohesive color pallet used throughout the interior space. The facility includes traditional features, such as a walk-in vault for safe deposit boxes as well as a private viewing room for members accessing them. An inviting lobby with a coffee bar and a book-sharing area with state-of-the-art technology. As many companies are moving to a hybrid or remote-style of work for their employees, the new Midtown branch also has space for TTCU members to work remotely from TTCU’s hoteling spaces. This structure stands as a testament to Midtown’s rich history while embracing the ever-evolving Tulsa landscape.
The new branch replaced the aging building which was demolished after the new branch was complete, so member service was uninterrupted throughout the construction. The new structure was completed in summer 2023. Scheduled to be completed in November 2023, Phase II the Future Drive-Thru, is currently under construction. Once complete there will be six state-of-the-art ITM lanes to allow quick person-to-person interaction with remote tellers. Two-way drives will allow direct access to 31st street from each direction.
