Glencoe Public Schools | High School Building Addition (New Commons / Panther’s Den)
The new Panther’s Den Activity Center at Glencoe High School provides a flexible, multipurpose gathering space designed to support student life, dining, and community events. The project added a 2,280-square-foot commons area with seating for 88 and capacity for more than 150 occupants, offering an inviting environment for everyday use as well as school functions. The addition includes a serving and warming kitchen to support meal service and activities, along with new boys’, girls’, and special-needs restrooms, storage areas, and a janitorial room. A secure new vestibule improves entry control, while exterior enhancements such as a covered canopy, walkways, and outdoor bench seating create a welcoming transition to the building. The Panther’s Den expansion enhances the high school’s ability to host events, serve students more efficiently, and foster a stronger sense of community on campus.
Glencoe Public Schools | Elementary School Renovation
The Glencoe Middle School/Elementary Renovation project delivered a complete modernization of nearly 20,000 square feet of instructional space, transforming an outdated facility into a safe, efficient, and engaging environment for students. The work included new ceilings, flooring, finishes, and upgraded building systems throughout, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, LED lighting, and fire alarms. Classrooms were refreshed with new casework and improved storage, while corridor layouts were reconfigured to enhance circulation and supervision. The renovation also introduced new accessible restrooms and updated exterior elements such as a redesigned parapet and signage that tie the elementary building’s appearance to the district’s event center aesthetic. This comprehensive improvement effort significantly elevated the building’s performance, comfort, and functionality, supporting Glencoe Public Schools’ goal of providing modern, high-quality learning spaces for future generations.
