Briggs Public Schools Middle School Expansion and Gymnasium Renovation
- ARPA Federal Funded
Construction Manager At Risk. The Middle School Expansion and Gymnasium Renovation at Briggs Public Schools in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, is a pivotal enhancement project delivered through the Construction Manager At Risk method.
Initially, the project involved demolishing the outdated middle school facilities, which were centrally located within an existing complex. This made way for the construction of new, state-of-the-art classrooms, administrative offices, and fully equipped restrooms, all designed with modern educational standards in mind.
Separately, the gymnasium building underwent substantial renovations, including a complete overhaul of the gym floor to meet competitive standards and enhance durability, as well as a redesign of the concessions area to improve functionality and modernize amenities. These improvements aim to create a dynamic, supportive learning environment and a better event space for students and community members. The upgraded facilities are expected to significantly boost the functionality and aesthetic appeal of Briggs Public Schools, enriching the educational experiences of students and facilitating a broad range of school and community activities for years to come.
