Roma Berry Center for Seniors
LDKerns Contractors proudly delivered the LIFE Senior Services Roma Berry Center for Seniors, a comprehensive 39,000-square-foot facility dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Located on a 9-acre campus, formerly the site of Bates Elementary School, this project was designed to support LIFE’s Adult Day Health and LIFE PACE programs.
The centerpiece of the site is the Ann and Henry Zarrow Adult Day Health Center, providing a safe and engaging environment for seniors who would otherwise spend the day alone. Complementing this, the Sanford and Irene Burnstein Family Foundation Active Senior Center offers an auditorium, cafeteria and dining space, art studio, pottery kiln, exercise room, and community rooms for games and socializing. The campus features beautifully landscaped gardens and a walking trail, encouraging outdoor activities and providing a serene environment for all visitors. Additionally, LIFE’s affiliated PACE program, the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, includes a complete medical clinic aimed at delivering coordinated health care, allowing seniors to remain in their homes.
